本書は、『女王陛下のお気に入り』『哀れなるものたち』主演の女優エマ・ストーン（Emma Stone）が書き下ろした詩、作家のオテッサ・モシュフェグ（Ottessa Moshfegh）によるエッセイ、そして作者が撮影した舞台裏の写真を収録している。
